Somaliland abuzz from Ethiopia's khat convoys







Narcotic plant is a huge tax-revenue earner that bolsters the region's economy, but also disrupts family life


Somaliland spends $524m a year - about 30 percent of its gross domestic product - on khat from Ethiopia, said Weli Daud with the Somaliland Ministry of Finance.
Khat has become so enmeshed with Somaliland's culture and daily life it has become an important tax earner for the government. In 2014, khat sales generated 20 percent of the $152m budget.
But despite this windfall, plenty of critics highlight the disrupting influence khat has on family life - from financial waste to domestic violence - and on the society at large.

                                                 QISAADII NABI YUUSUF.


Qisadu waxay ku bilaabmaysaa Nabi Yuusuf oo ku arkay riyo 11 meerayaal, Qorraxda iyo Dayaxa oo usujuudsan, Nabi Yuusuf waxa uu uga warramay riyadiisa aabihii Nabi Yacquub (N.N.K.H).
Nabi Yacquub waxa uu gartay in wiilkiisa yar, la imtixaani doono markaasuu ku yidhi wiilkaygoow “ha uga warramin riyadaada walaaladaa, sababtoo ah Nabi Yacquub (N.N.K.H) waxa uu dareemay in Yuusuf walaaladii ay xasdiyaan, Shaydaankuna ku diri karo.
Nabi Yacquub waa jeclaaday wiilkiisa Yuusuf, maadaama uu ku arkay sifooyinkii Nabiyada iyo akhlaaqdiisa wanaagsan darteed.
Nabi Yuusuf walaaladii oo ahaa 1o wiil oo isku hooya ah, ayaa xasdi u qaaday Yuusuf iyo walaalkii Binyamin. Waxay dareemeen in aabahood uu aad u jecel yahay Yuusuf iyo walaalkii Binyamin. Waxayna is waydiiyeen siday u dhici karto in aabahood ka fadilo Yuusuf, ayagoo koox xoogan ah.

Nabi Yacquub (N.N.K.H) wuxuu yidhi “waxa i warwar galinaysaa inaad la tagtaan Yuusuf kadibna Yaygu cuno idiinkoon ogayn”. “Yuusuf walaaladii waxay dhaheen siduu Yaygu u cunayaa annagoo ah koox, hadday dhacdana waxaan ka mid nahay kuwa khasaaray”.
Nabi Yuusuf (N.N.K.H) waa faraxsanaa, oo wuxuu maqlayey walaaladii oo ballan ka qaadayey aabahood inay ilaalinayaan hase ahaatee Nabi Yacquub wuu dareemay inay jirto dhagar qarsoon.
Nabi Yacquub waa ku aaminay wiilkiisii yaraa walaaladii, waanay la tageen Yuusuf kadibna ka saareen shaatigii uu sitay, kuna tuureen ceel salkii, ayagoo ku qoslaya oo ku leh Yuusufoow aabahayo wuu ku jeclaa, maantana waxaad ku jirtaa ceel salkii, halkaasbayna  iskaga tageen.
Yuusuf waxa uu qabsaday dhagax yaalay Ceelka salkiisa, kadibna waa u yeedhay walaaladii laakiin dheg umay dhaadhicin ee way iskaga dhaqaajiyeen.
Nabi Yuusuf waxa uu dareemay cabsi, waxaanu xasuustay aabahii iyo sidii uu ujeclaa iyo sida ay walaaladii intay ceel dhigeen uga dhaqaajiyeen. Yuusuf waxa uu ceelka ku jiray dhawr maalmood, waxaanu dareemay gaajo iyo wahel la’aan sidoo kale mugdiga ceelka iyo cidlada ayaa usii dheerayd.

Nabi Yuusuf (N.N.K.H) intuu ceelka ku jirey ayaa Eebe u waxyooday, inuu maalin maalmaha ka mida walaaladii uga warrami doono waxay ku sameeyeen.
Nabi Yacquub waxa uu gudo galay inuu Eebihii baryo, kuna samro dhibta soo gaartay. Dhanka kale ceelkii agtiisii waxa yimid dad socota ah oo doonay inay waraabiyaan xoolahooda.
Kadib waxay dul yimaadeen ceelkii, markaasay tuureen dalwadii si ay biyo usoo qaado, markuu Yuusuf dareemay in dad dul joogaan ayuu qabsaday dalwadii. Dadkii socotada ahaa ayaa dhahay dalwadu way culustayhay, kadibna way is caawiyeen oo soo saareen dalwadii, si lama filaana ayey u bushaareysteen oo dhaheen waa bushaaro waa wiil yar!

Nabi Yuusuf oo kal hore ahaa adoon lakala gato, maanta waxa uu ka yahay wadanka Masar wasiirka maaliyada, waxaana gacantiisa ku jirta xukunka Masar iyo dhaqaalaheeda.

Nabi Yuusuf waa siiyey cuntadii, kadiban waxa uu faray mid kamida shaqaalihiisa in uu galiyo rarka saacii boqorka ee wax lagu miisayey, waxayna galiyeen rarka walaalkii Binyamin.
Markii rarkii u dhamaadey ee ay baxeen ayaa loo yeedhay oo la dhahay safarkiinasi waxad tihiin tuug, oo waxan weynay Koobkii (saacii) boqorka ee waa maxay abaal marinta cidii laga helo?
Waxay dhaheen cidii laga helo ayaa loo ciqaabi, waxayna diintoodu ku banaanayd in ruuxii tuuganimo la yimaada laga dhigo adoon.

Kadib markii la kaxaysatay Binyamiin ayey ku dhaheen boqorow, waxa uu leeyahay aabe da’diisu wayntahay ee mid kale oo annaga naga mida kaxayso. Nabi Yuusuf waxa uu dhahay ciddii laga helay ayunbaa la kaxaysan.

Nabi Yuusuf waxa uu ku yidhi walaaladii ma xasuusataan waxaad ku samayseen Yuusuf iyo walaalkiis markaad jaahiliinta ahaydeen. Markaas wada dhaheen adigu ma Yuusuf baad tahay? Nabi Yuusuf waxa uu yidhi anigu waxaan ahay Yuusuf, kanina waa walaalkayo waxaana noo gargaaray Eebe Wayne.

Nabi Yuusuf iyo ehelkiisii waxay ku noolaayeen nolol barwaaqo ah dhulka Masar.

Qisada Nabi Yuusuf waxa weeye qisooyinka ugu macaan ee quraanka kariimka ahi inooga warramay. Nabi Yacquub iyo aabihii Isxaaq waxay ku aasanyihiin dhulka Falastiin sidoo kale Nabi Yuusuf waxa uu ku geeriyooday Masar laakiin waxa la dhahaa waxa loo qaaday maydkiisii dhulka Falastiin.

Fadliga quraanka kariim





FADLIGA QUR'AANKA
قال الله تعالى: ﴿ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا ﴿٩﴾
Qur’aankani wuxuu ku Hanuunin Dadka Arrinta u Toosan ugana Bishaarayn kuwa fala Wanaag inay Mudan yihiin  Ajiri wayn .
وقال سبحانه : ﴿ وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ﴿٨٢﴾
Waxaanu soo dajinaynaa Qur’aanka  Isagoo caafimaad iyo Naxariis u ah Mu’miniinta, Dalimiintana uma  siyaadiyo Waxaan Khasaare ahayn.
وقال سبحانه : ﴿ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَّن تَبُورَ ﴿٢٩﴾
Kuwa Akhriya  Kitaabka  Alle oo salaadda ooga oo wax ka nafaqeeya (ka bixiya) waxaan ku arsaaqnay qaarsoodi iyo caddaanba waxay rajayn tijaaro (ganacsi) aan baaraynin.
عن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ ‏"‏ اقرءوا القرآن فإنه يأتي يوم القيامة شفيعًا لأصحابه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.
Abii umaamah (A.K.R) wuxuu yiri: Waxaan maqlay Rasuulkii Alle (S.C.W.) oo leh: Darsa Quraanka (si joogta ah), maxaa yeelay wuxuu u ahaan doonaa shafeece iyo garab akhristayaashiisa Maalinta Qiyaamaha. (Muslim)
وعن النواس بن سمعان رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول‏:‏ ‏"‏يؤتى يوم القيامة بالقرآن وأهله الذين كانو يعملون به في الدنيا تقدمه سورة البقرة وآل عمران تحاجان عن صاحبهما ‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
Nawwaas bin Samcaan (A.K.R) wuxuu yiri: Waxaan maqlay Nebiga (S.C.W.) oo leh: Maalinta Qiyaamaha Qur’aanka sidoo kale waa lala keeni doonaa kii ku camal falay adduunyadan. Hortiisa isaga,  oo Suuradaha Al-Baqrah iyo Aal-Cimraan baa hogaamin doona iyagoo u doodaaya dadkii akhrisan jirey suuradahan adduunkii. (Muslim)
وعن عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏"‏خيركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه البخاري‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
Cuthmaan ibn Caffaan (A.K.R) wuxuu yiri: Nebigu (S.C.W.) Wuxuu yiri: Waxaa idiinku khayr badan kuwiinna bartay Qur’aanka oo barana dadka kale. (Bukhaari).
وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏"‏الذي يقرأ القرآن وهو ماهر به مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأ القرآن ويتتعتع فيه وهو عليه شاق له أجران‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
Caa’isha (A.K.R) waxay tiri: Nebigu (S.C.W.) wuxuu yiri: Qofkii akhriya Qur’aanka oo u akhriya si fiican wuxuu la meel joogaa malaa’igta wax qorta oo sharafta leh oo baarriyiinta ah, qofka ku akhriya Qur’aanka si jejebin ah oo uu dhibta ku yahay wuxuu yeelan doonaa laba ajar. (Bukhaari iyo Muslim)
وعن أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏"‏مثل المؤمن الذي يقرأ القرآن مثل الأترجة‏:‏ ريحها طيب، وطعمها طيب، ومثل المؤمن الذي لا يقرأ القرآن كمثل التمرة‏:‏ لا ريح لها وطعمها حلو، ومثل المنافق الذي يقرأ القرآن كمثل الريحانة‏:‏ ريحها طيب وطعمها مر، ومثل المنافق الذي لايقرأ القرآن كمثل الحنظلة‏:‏ ليس له ريح وطعمها مر‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
Abuu Muusaa Al-Ash-Cari (R.C.) wuxuu yiri: Nebigu (S.C.W.) wuxuu yiri: Tusaalaha mu’minka darsaa Qur’aanka waa sida liinta ah udguunka iyo macaankla, tusaalaha mu’minka aan akhriyin Qur’aanka waa sida timirta engagan aan iyadu ur lahayn ha yeeshee macaan, tusaalaha munaafiqa akhriya Qur’aanka wuxuu la mid yahay reexaanta udgoon haddana qaraarka ah, munaafaqa aan akhriyin Qur’aanka wuxuu la mid yahay sibirta aan urta lahayn qaraarkana ah dhadhan ahaan. Turkey: Africa's friend, compatriot and partner

Turkey looks forward to working more closely with our African friends and allies in a range of areas.













Over the next days, Turkey's political and business leaders will embark on a historic visit to Uganda, Kenya and Somalia. We will seek to promote closer cooperation with our regional allies, develop solutions to shared challenges and explore mutually beneficial opportunities.
Many people in the world associate the African continent with extreme poverty, violent conflict and a general state of hopelessness. The people of Turkey have a different view. We believe that Africa deserves better.
Africa has three core advantages
First, the continent has a young and vibrant population at a time when Europe and other parts of the world are rapidly ageing. If the world cooperates with local and national governments in the region, we can create avenues for young people to make a positive impact on their communities. African women, likewise, have the potential to become more active players in economic and social life.
Moreover, Africa is a continent blessed with vast natural resources. Uganda and Kenya, among others, have not only large oil reserves but also plenty of fertile land and regular rainfall.
To be clear, the rest of Africa is no different, even though years of colonial rule and exploitation stripped local communities of what rightfully belongs to them. If the world stops acting out of greed and focuses on helping the African people to help themselves, the continent could become an economic powerhouse.
Finally, the people of Africa have an entrepreneurial spirit that could potentially turn the continent around. Despite decades of exploitation and various challenges, the continent has always found a way to survive through innovation. As Africa assumes a more prominent role in the international arena, this spirit of entrepreneurialism will help to build a safer future for the next generation.
Turkey's efforts
Since 2002, the government of Turkey has been working hard to help African nations to discover their potential and take steps in the right direction.
In an effort to reinvigorate our long-neglected ties with the continent, Turkey in 2005 launched an African initiative to cooperate more closely with our friends and allies in the region.
Over the next years, we proceeded to hold two Turkey-Africa partnership summits in Istanbul, Turkey and Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The events were not only our way of thanking the people of Africa for their warm welcome but also reiterating our commitment to a long-term partnership. Indeed, the summits marked a turning point in Turkey's relations with Africa.

Somaliland waxay leedahay laba taariikhood. Taariikhdii ka horeysay 1991kii dibna ugu noqonaysa ilaa wakhtigii xornimada laga qaatay gumaystihii Ingiriiska 26kii Juun 1960. Taariikhda labaad ee Somaliland ayaa ah tan hadda socota kana soo bilaabaysa wakhtigii dib loola soo noqday xorriyadii luntay 1960kii.

                      The oldest known person in the world has died in New York aged 116.








Born on an Alabama farm in July 1899, Susannah Mushatt Jones was also the last living American born in the 19th Century.
She lived in three centuries, through two world wars and 20 US presidencies.
An Italian woman, Emma Morano, now takes on the title of oldest person in the world, and is thought to be the last living person to have been born in the 1890s.
Ms Jones was one of 11 children. Her grandparents were slaves, her parents crop pickers.
She attended a special school for young black girls and graduated from high school in 1922.
She moved to New York to work as a nanny, where she helped to start a scholarship fund for young African-American women.
Ms Jones remained active until the end of her life, serving as a member of the tenant patrol of her nursing home until she was 106.

Secret to longevity

As one of the last few remaining human links with the 19th Century, Ms Jones has lived through more history than anyone else in the world.
The year of her birth, 1899, for example, marked the kind of historical event most people only know from history books:
  • The start of the Second Boer War in South Africa
  • The beginning of the war between the US and the Philippines
  • The invention of aspirin
She was also born before the death of Queen Victoria in Britain, before Marconi sent the first ever wireless transmission, and before the Wright Brothers flew the first aircraft.
